Objective: As the Structural Engineer, you will spearhead the creation of calculations, specifications, reports, and project studies. You’ll follow detailed specifications, along with written and verbal instructions, adhering to established design practices, codes, standards, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Leading engineering calculations to meet project requirements with minimal supervision.
Crafting detailed construction specifications and general notes.
Reviewing drawings provided by vendors, clients, and other disciplines.
Performing field investigations to gather essential project information.
Ensuring the maintenance of accurate engineering files and records.
Independently developing structural calculations and comprehensive reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.
5+ years of experience in Civil/Structural engineering.
EIT certification required; PE registration a plus.
Proficient in reading and interpreting GA’s and equipment drawings.
Skilled in crafting construction specifications.
Comprehensive knowledge of IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD, SP Mats, MathCAD, or Microsoft Excel.
Experience with structural steel and foundation design.
Ability to conduct field investigations for verifying design conditions.
