Backend Developer/ Bug Fixer
Position Summary

You will leverage your expertise to manage and resolve bugs, collaborate with a talented development team, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems.
What You Will Do
Bug Management: Analyze and prioritize bug reports submitted via JIRA and ServiceNow. Validate and assess the impact of reported issues to streamline resolution efforts. Troubleshooting & Fixing:
Replicate issues to uncover root causes and troubleshoot effective solutions. Implement fixes and light enhancements to optimize application performance. Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with our development team to communicate findings, provide updates, and ensure smooth bug resolutions. Foster a collaborative environment to drive continuous improvements. Documentation:
Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of bug reports, fixes, and enhancements. Contribute to and update our knowledge base using Confluence or similar tools. Application & Database Interaction: Utilize SQL to query databases and analyze data logs for effective troubleshooting. Experience with Oracle and DB2 is a plus. Tool Utilization:
Employ tools like GitLab for version control and Datadog for monitoring and logging. Support bug tracking and resolution efforts with advanced toolsets. Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to foundational libraries and orchestration knowledge using tools like Confluence, Ballerina, Kafka, or similar. To Be Successful You Will Have
Programming Languages:
Proficiency in Java is required. Python skills are a plus. Database Knowledge:
Strong proficiency in SQL. Experience with Oracle and DB2 is advantageous. Tool Proficiency:
Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, GitLab, and Datadog. Familiarity with Confluence, Ballerina, Kafka, or similar tools is beneficial. Troubleshooting Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen troubleshooting mindset. Time Zone Availability:
Willingness to work in US Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) zones. Collaboration:
Proven ability to work collaboratively with a development team and contribute to effective knowledge bases.
