Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire Must-Have: - Must verify if the candidate requires sponsorship to work in the US - Active Maryland or Compact License Job Description: - Provide nursing care for emergency and trauma patients, playing a significant role in stroke, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and trauma programs.- Participate in a specialized area for adult and pediatric mental health evaluations.- Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of patient care utilizing the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards and the nursing process.- Act as a patient advocate, providing support, information, and direct care.- Skillfully utilize equipment and technology, demonstrating technical competence in nursing procedures.- Educate patients and families on significant self-care issues.- May be required to manage the inventory, distribution, and delivery of medications.- Scheduled to be off at least three holidays per year and required to work weekends as needed.- Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate occasional overtime requirements.
