We are seeking an Automation Engineer with Python and YAML programming experience to:Develop automated solutions that drive efficient change, automation, and configuration providing security administration, and compliance across networks domainsWrite production grade code in modern program languagesImplementation of REST APIsBuild automated workflows and templates based on customer requirementsEnsure workflows are configured properly to provide infrastructure capacity and performance management for forecasting and planning on future requirementsDevelop and maintain custom scripts that shall be used outside of automation tools when it is determined to be more efficient and less resource intensiveAdminister code reviews, workflows, and templates ensuring maximum efficiencyDevelop templates based on internal and external requirements as they are requested on automation request sitesOptimize jobs or applications for maximum speed/scalabilityProvide infrastructure capacity and performance management to forecast and plan future requirements by developing custom scripts to increase efficiencyImprove asset tracking communications and databases through automation effortsParticipate in briefings with Senior stakeholders to reviews work/projects affecting customerRequirements
Requirements
Must have Secret or higher clearanceMust have DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (i.e. Security+)Must have 1+ years' experience with automation programming using Python and YAMLExperience writing production grade code in modern program languagesExperience with REST API implementationExperience optimizing jobs or applications for maximum speed/scalabilityAbility to identify manual business processes and convert them to automated functionsPreferred: Relevant Computing Environment (CE) certification such as RedHat Ansible; candidate may earn this after hire if neededDesired but not required: Experience with Red Hat Ansible or HP / Micro Focus Operations Orchestration Studio (HPOO)Benefits
