Our facility specializes in Business Aviation, focusing on 22 models of aircraft on the Airframe side while our Engine Shop performs comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell HTF7000 and TFE731 engines, APUs, and performs diagnostics in our state-of-the-art Test Cell.An Airframe Inspector ensures the airworthiness and safety of aircraft structures by performing detailed inspections during maintenance, repair, and modifications. They verify compliance with FAA regulations, technical manuals, and quality standards while documenting findings and certifying aircraft for return to service. Our teams specialize across Textron (Hawker), Embraer (Legacy / Praetor / Phenom), Bombardier (Learjet /Challenger), Dassault (Falcon).What to expect in this role:- Inspects all types of aircraft (including engines, electrical instruments, structures, controls, environmental control systems, landing gear, accessories, etc.) before, during, and after maintenance- Determines the serviceability of aircraft systems, parts, and components using precision measuring guides, gauges, instruments, measuring devices, magnification, and non-destructive testing (if appropriately certified).- Accomplish preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles repaired, maintained, inspected, or altered by the facility.- Provides procedural guidance to technicians and delegated inspectors.- Trains and assists technicians in proper work procedures and practices.- Monitors work in progress to ensure proper paperwork, procedures, techniques, and methods as prescribed by maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, approved engineering documents, and other FAA approved data are used.- Documents inspection results in inspection paperwork and log books. Accomplishes final review of work order documentation prior to final release of articles.
