Plant Manufacturing ManagerThe Plant Manufacturing Manager will oversee all aspects of machinery and fabrication within our advanced manufacturing facility, which includes CNC machines, CO₂ and fiber lasers, cabinetry production, a paint shop, and a powder-coating facility. This position requires managing a team of seven skilled production staff, ensuring project deadlines are met, and maintaining effective inventory control. The manager will also work closely with internal procurement and design teams to align production processes with project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of seven production staff, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.Operations Management:
Oversee operations across cabinetry production, CNC machining, laser cutting, paint application, and powder-coating to maintain seamless production workflows.Project Coordination:
Manage complex, deadline-driven projects, ensuring resources and schedules are optimized to meet quality and timeline expectations.Inventory Oversight:
Coordinate with the procurement team to manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring materials are available for ongoing and upcoming projects.Collaborative Planning:
Partner with design and procurement teams to ensure project specifications are met and production timelines are aligned with company goals.Quality Control:
Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols to maintain consistency and meet production standards across all areas.Machinery Oversight:
Supervise the maintenance, operation, and repair of all machinery, minimizing downtime and enhancing performance.Efficiency Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to boost production efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.Safety Management:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for personnel and equipment.Qualifications:Experience:
5–7 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication management, including familiarity with cabinetry production, CNC machining, laser cutting, and finishing processes.Technical Expertise:
Comprehensive knowledge of fabrication equipment, maintenance, and finishing techniques such as paint and powder-coating.Team Management:
Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Project Leadership:
Experience in managing complex, time-sensitive projects with multiple dependencies.Inventory Skills:
Proficient in inventory management and material planning.Communication:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
