Details Client NameBarnes Jewish Hospital Job TypeTravel OfferingAllied ProfessionTherapy SpecialtyRRT Job ID29486789 Job TitleRespiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - RRT @ Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied Weekly Pay$2034.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/23/2024 End Date06/23/2025 Duration26 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BCLS, RRT Must-Have: EPIC experience, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Ventilator Management Job Description: - Candidates expected to work in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and general floors.- Perform airway management including Endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, and nasal airway suctioning.- Execute oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, and tracheostomy suctioning.- Collect sputum specimens with proficiency.- Administer medications such as Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Nitric Oxide, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, and Xopenex.- Utilize medication delivery systems including aerosol setups for mask and tracheostomy, and metered-dose inhalers.- Operate various nebulizer devices including hand-held, T-piece, trach collar, and ultrasonic nebulizers.- Deliver oxygen therapy using High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).- Manage ventilators, including BiPAP and CPAP, troubleshoot high-pressure alarms, and assist in weaning from mechanical ventilation.- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABG).- Work required every third weekend.- Collaborate with various specialties within the healthcare setting, floating as necessary to meet facility needs.- Modules completion required pre-start.
