Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,727 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS (since specialty is ICU and includes occasional ED holds) Job Details A facility in Arizona is looking for experienced ICU nurses for a travel contract. the right candidate will have 2 years of ICU experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS and Arizona license. Job Requirements 2 years of ICU experience Active BLS, ACLS, and Arizona license Positive attitude with very strong teamwork No pass culture Must be proficient with vasoactive drips Must be independent Strong general Medical & Surgical ICU experience Schedule Information 12 hr shifts: 7a-7p; 7p-7a 4 weekend shifts for 4 week schedule 3 out of 6 main holidays Unit Specific Information Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Vasoactive drips, vent weaning per protocol, some CHF, Sepsis, Neuro - Seizure, Cardiac - NSTEMI, Atrial Fib, Pulmonary - pneumonia, pleural effusions, Endocrine - DKA, and more Types of procedures performed by Critical Care: Bronchs, CL insertion, intubations, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and more Diagnosis/Types of patients that will be transferred to SJHMC: Neuro - CVA, Seizure, Cardiac - STEMI, Pulmonary - ARDS, GI, Renal - CRRT, Hemodynamics Additional Details Must be able and willing to work the M/S Tele patients as well. ICU person should be comfortable in tele also and have the expectation that at westgate, you will be likely to have 50% in a non-ICU environment. Can float downtown to their ICU, so should be comfortable there also.
