Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD’s and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23.

CVICU: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VADs and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23.Job Requirements

CA License2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignmentPEDS Cardiac experience - MUST be cardiac trainedHeart transplant experienceWilling to float between unitsExperience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretationFlu shotFloating is infrequent but could happen based on clinicians acuity level to the following units: PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.Schedule Information

Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun.Requested Time Off: 3 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)*Self scheduling!Unit Specific Information
