Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/16.RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.RATIOS: 1:5-6Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!36-48 hrs can be offered. Frequent floating may be required.PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many moreSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We have a 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) that is considered Intermediate level and that nurse has 4:142 daily census. 43 rooms/bedsUNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBARSCHEDULING TYPE: Preferred SchedulingIf a traveler calls out of a shift, they are expected to make up that day the same week or at the end of their contract.UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 HoursSCRUBS: NavyJob Requirements
