What the Transportation Engineer Will Do:
Building and nurturing relationships with existing and new clients to strengthen the public works portfolio.Leading roadway projects across varying complexities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the roads & highways market.Guiding project teams, including mentoring fellow engineers, EITs, and technicians.Helping with proposal processes, managing project budgets, tracking staff utilization, and hitting financial targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering7+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on highway or roadway projectsProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure, preferably in MinnesotaProficiency in roadway design using MicroStation and/or Geopak/ORD softwareFamiliarity with MnDOT and Minnesota local agency specifications, design practices, and project assembly
