A Top Commercial Roofing company is looking for a
5-10 commercial roofing industry professional
to prospect new clients, maintain and grow current relationships and provide accurate bids in an effective timeframe. We offer excellent growth potential for a motivated professional.Job Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with industrial and commercial building owners and facility managers.Effectively communicate the company's strengths and value propositions as the preferred provider of roofing solutions.Stay informed about various roofing systems and repair options, particularly in existing buildings.Analyze and diagnose customer roofing needs, matching them with suitable solutions such as replacement, repair, or preventative maintenance.Develop cost budgets for roofing proposals to present to owners' representatives.Draft proposals for general contractors, private clients, and other customers.Review blueprints and documentation to prepare bids and estimates.Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to formulate estimates and resolve issues.Communicate changes and adjustments to cost estimates with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.Attend weekly sales meetings and track weekly activities.Ensure all documentation, including estimates, cost codes, scope of work, and man hours, is accurate and handed off to the operations team if the project is awarded.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.5 to 7 years of sales experience in roofing, construction, or a related field.Strong understanding of the sales process with a profit-oriented mindset.Ability to comprehend both technical and financial aspects of construction operations.Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal team members.Advanced written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft applications.Knowledge or experience in the roofing industry.
