Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities
Check time sheets for accuracy, approve and submit to payroll.
Distribute payroll reports to managers.
Handle data entry and time card approvals on Mondays.
Manage incoming traffic from employees regarding payroll, pay stubs, PTO/FMLA, promotions, and documentation.
Track and document all HR processes, including employee inquiries and deadlines for submissions.
Audit payroll, ensuring accuracy before submission.
Address missing punches by reaching out to supervisors for auditing and approval.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding/offboarding processes.
Perform month-end reporting, including invoices and other reports.
Handle disciplinary actions related to attendance and behavioral issues for both union and non-union employees.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of HR Generalist experience in California
Experience with payroll processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas)
Bilingual in Spanish
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of SAP
Strong administrative support and data entry skills
Experience with employee relations, onboarding, and recruiting
