Come join our team! In this role, you will inspect parts against customer specifications while working with our Quality Managers. In addition you will: Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required. Perform calibration of all testing equipment accurately and on schedule. Perform audits, weekly probes, surveys, etc. as needed or defined by procedure and/or schedule. May be required to complete conformance certificates and/or other related paperwork. Promote safety and good housekeeping practices. This position will allow for cross-training and the development of additional skills. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: Education - High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred - one to three years experience in metal components, as an inspector, or working in the heat treating industry. Must have a working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology. Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat-treating equipment is desired. Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints/specifications, be detail-oriented, and possess manual dexterity. May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends. Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required. This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following: Must be able to work in a sitting and standing position for extended periods of time in an office/industrial environment. Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions. Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc. Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc. Ability to hear in person and via phone.
