Apply today to be a Laminator Operator with one of the most innovative and trusted packaging companies in the world. Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Laminator Operator for the Elgin, IL plant. The shift is 3rd Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sun-Thu).
Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.
Key Responsibilities:
The Laminator Operator is responsible for the overall operation of the Laminator, which includes, but is not limited to:
Set up and monitor the machine process to assure quality product Ensure productivity goals are met for department/machine by monitoring run speeds, set up times and coordination of support departments Troubleshoot and correct problems Communication orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, change overs and daily shift information Accurate and timely production reporting Training new associates Comply with all safety rules Minimum Requirements:
Previous lamination/operator experience is preferred Ability to lift and push/pull 50-75 lbs and stand prolonged periods Ability to read a tape measure and possess basic computer skill Ability to work overtime when required Benefits:
