Part-time Social Media Specialist$25.00-$30.00/hourTrulite is GROWING! We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team! The Social Media Specialist is responsible for leading our online presence and growing our brand across digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current social media trends, and eye for detail, and the ability to craft engaging content that aligns with our brand values and goals. The role will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and managing content across multiple social media platforms to enhance our brand, engage our community, and drive conversations. Responsibilities:Content Creation & Management:Develop, curate, and manage engaging content (images, video, written) tailored to each social media platform.Plan and implement a content calendar that aligns with business goals, product launches, and relevant events.Write compelling captions that reflect our brand voice and drive engagement.Strategy & Growth:Create and execute a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.Conduct regular research on audience preferences and current trends to tailor content for each platform.Identify and explore emerging social media platforms that align with our audience and goals.Community Engagement:Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a positive community around our brand.Monitor brand mentions and relevant keywords to participate in conversations and increase brand visibility.Collaborate with customer support to address inquiries or issues raised via social media.Analytics & Reporting:Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet KPIs.Use insights to optimize content, improve reach, and identify areas for improvement.Stay informed on algorithm changes and adjust tactics to maintain visibility and engagement.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Self-motivated and goal-oriented person with a drive to succeed to maximize results.Fosters a whatever it takes attitude to get the job done attitude.Strong writing, editing, communication and time management skills.Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.Proficiency in major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).Creativity and an eye for design; experience with graphic design tools is a plus.Ability to analyze data and adjust content and strategy accordingly.Must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.Must pass criminal background check.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
