Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location:
Attleboro, MA
We are seeking
experienced Quality Control Inspectors
to join our team at a client location in
Attleboro, MA . As a
Quality Inspector , you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of products by conducting inspections, recording data, and utilizing precision measuring tools. You will adhere to established inspection procedures, use specialized software for tracking quality issues, and support quality assurance processes in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:Inspect and Verify:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure product specifications are met.Measure and Record:
Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to inspect parts and ensure compliance with quality standards.Data Documentation:
Accurately record inspection data and complete production travelers as required.Track Issues:
Follow established inspection procedures and document findings in
TrackWise
for tracking product rejections and acceptances.Reference Drawings:
Use
Agile
software to access drawings, work instructions, and other relevant documents.Additional Duties:
Perform other quality-related tasks as directed by Quality Leadership to support operational needs.Shift:
1st Shift (M-F):
7:00 AM - 3:30 PMOvertime:
Occasional daily and weekend overtime may be required.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong
written and verbal communication skills .Detail-oriented
with the ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately.Willingness to learn
and ability to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.Dependable and cooperative with a strong work ethic and a
reliable attendance record .Ability to work both
independently
and as part of a
team .Required Education:
High School Diploma
or equivalent.Desired Experience & Skills:
Familiarity with
testing equipment
(e.g., handheld continuity testers).Experience with
precision measuring instruments
(e.g., calipers, micrometers, comparators).Ability to read and interpret
blueprints, technical drawings , and
job specifications .Knowledge of
quality manuals ,
inspection techniques , and best practices.Additional Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
or
Permanent Resident
(Green Card holder).Must be able to pass an
eye test
for distance and color vision.
Training & Development:
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Minimal experience
may be acceptable, and candidates will be given the opportunity to
train and develop their QA inspection skills .
