The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role in producing, analyzing, and consolidating global business headlines from key financial reports. They will be responsible for maintaining, delivering and improving analytical processes that supports senior management in providing clear insights to drive the future long-term performance of the business. The role consolidates global results, analyzes financial data including drafting resulting commentaries, build reports, manages the structural business hierarchies, in collaboration with Finance and business teams in multiple countries. Responsibilities for this Sr. Financial Analyst role include:
Supporting the FP&A Director in delivering global month end, forecast, and budget reporting.
Work closely with Technology stakeholders and the accounting teams to ensure monthly accruals are accurate and vendor costs are tracked.
Consolidate and review global commentary from multiple sources for month end, forecast and budget. Commentaries includes month end financial drivers, CAPEX, FTE and other ad hoc items.
Develop global business headlines summarizing the drivers for month end, forecasts and budget
Maintain reports, working with each of the regions to make sure we are receiving what is needed to consolidate, adjusting/adapting to ad hoc items that come up throughout the process
Completes enhancing analysis to drive growth and operational efficiencies. including month end processing, management review of budget vs. actual results as well as prior year comparisons and trend analysis.
Support the development of board decks which will include creating PowerPoint slides and chart of accounts by reviewing and approving all cost centres and accounts.
Supports the delivery of process simplification and standardisation as well as ensuring appropriate and optimally efficient policies, procedures and controls are maintained and regularly reviewed, making improvements as necessary
As a key financial liaison, the BU Finance Analyst will collaborate with the various departments across the business unit.
Identify opportunities for continual process improvements
Qualifications for Sr. Financial Analyst roles include:
Strong understanding of Accounting for Expenses.
The ideal candidate will have worked in the Financial Services Industry and have supported the Technology Department or other Infrastructure Divisions like Operations.
Minimum 2 years of financial and analytical experience.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or local equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in finance, accounting or related discipline.
