AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Key job responsibilities
Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

About the team
The AWS Networking team was created to make sure customers can deploy the best, most scalable, and most secure architectures possible. You’ll play an important role as an advocate with our service teams to make sure we are building the right products. Come change the way customers use the cloud to modernize their networks! The team helps customers identify the right networking services, architectures, and constructs to connect to AWS and accelerate their own innovation by unlocking new potential in AWS. Our team works closely with customers to engage them in GTM motions that expand the adoption of AWS Networking services such as AWS Direct Connect, AWS PrivateLink, Amazon VPC, AWS Cloud WAN, Amazon VPC Lattice, AWS Network Firewall, and AWS Transit Gateway within their environments.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
5+ Years experience with Networking and/or Software-defined Networking, driving adoption of technology products or services
Preferred Qualifications
History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
Computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desired

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
