is seeking an
Internal Medicine Physician
for our I
ntegrative Medicine and Health (IMH) practice
. This position is within the Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine. The Division of General Internal Medicine is an ambulatory practice that also includes Executive Health, International Medicine, and Consultative Medicine.
The IMH practice at Mayo Clinic Arizona supports the needs of our destination medical center by providing high-level, evidence-based consultative care to referred patients from Oncology, Women’s Health, Transplant, and General Internal Medicine. Our focus includes health promotion and symptom management using lifestyle and natural approaches, including stress management and supplement review. Opportunities in other areas may exist depending on the interests and expertise of the candidate.
There are ancillary IMH services available to support a thriving consultation practice, including acupuncture, massage, and classes, in addition to dedicated administrative and nursing staff. The Mayo model of care allows ample time for patient visits.
Candidates should have experience in the three shields of Mayo Clinic, which include clinical practice, education, and research. Medical school and residency teaching opportunities are available, including an Integrative Medicine track in Oncology fellowship. A proven track record of successful leadership is a must, as is the ability to manage and expand a diverse clinical and academic practice. Collaborative work across the institution is expected.
Qualifications
MD, MD/PhD, DO, MBBS or equivalent.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine, with Fellowship training or board certification in Integrative Medicine
Must be able to obtain an unrestricted Arizona medical license.
