Quality Inspector I

Job Summary:The Quality Inspector I is responsible for performing entry-level inspections, visual evaluations, and basic functional testing of products to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications. This position involves the use of inspection tools like microscopes, calipers, and micrometers, and requires attention to detail in performing a variety of routine and non-routine inspections.Key Responsibilities:Conduct mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies based on inspection plans and specifications.Perform PCI activities for NA Notifications at the US Regional Service Center as needed.Ensure compliance with Quality System Regulations, including cGMP, by following procedural requirements.Support the document archival process, including preparing pallets for shipment and scanning documents for electronic archival in Agile.Initiate Non-Conformance reports as needed and support NC and CAPA activities.Participate in special projects as assigned.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Basic computer skills, with the ability to access and document information in a computer system.Basic written and verbal communication skills for understanding instructions and reading work documents, including engineering drawings.Ability to perform inspections using tools such as microscopes, calipers, and micrometers.Preferred Qualifications:Associate's or Technical Degree.Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards.Experience working in a regulated environment, particularly with quality systems.Travel Requirements:Typically requires less than 5% travel.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Ability to perform essential functions in an office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting to analyze data.Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.Occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs.Location: 4455 Atherton Drive Salt Lake City UT USA 84123Education: High School
