Senior Business Analyst, Global Finance IntegrationJob SummaryGlobal Finance Integration team (GFI) is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our expanding team in Equinix. This position provides the opportunity for the ideal candidate to be involved in delivering finance projects (including integrations) focusing on finance system implementation, enhancements, supports and maintenance. Working with cross-functional departments at all levels, this role will facilitate planning and execution of finance projects and systems, supporting AMER, EMEA and APAC regions.ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementCreates and coordinates smaller project plans and resources, executing them using appropriate tools and techniquesEnsures resources are in the right place at the right timeWorks with stakeholders to gain alignment through implementation and post-implementation stagesCommunicates team progressCreates scope, project charter and stakeholder analysisApplies appropriate project management skills and best practices including Lean Six SigmaIdentifies and manages risks and issuesParticipate in finance projects and system implementation, including but not limited to:Develop strategies, plans and execute finance projectsDiscover and analyze business processes and perform gap analysis, producing detailed As Is process flowsIdentify solution on gaps, prepare Business Requirements Document (BRD) and review Functional Design Document (FDD)Prepare detailed solution design documentationCoordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Manage and execute data cleansing activities, working closely with Data Migration TeamData mapping exerciseManage and execute system cut-over planProduce project status reports, identifying issues and risksApply functional Oracle Cloud knowledge to the design and configuration of Oracle Cloud and related applications to meet the organization's requirements. Understands the content, processes and procedures associated with implementing and maintaining Oracle Cloud.Champion sustainable and forward-looking configurations by recognizing future needs aligned with the business roadmapConfigure applications in line with business goals and develop configuration standards.Keeps up to date with industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designs. Research best practice and assess the latest innovationsProvide post go-live supports and maintenance:Manage support requests to ensure timely and thorough resolution of issues and identify improvements to address repeat issuesMonitor implemented systems and processes to ensure high performanceCreate and update project documentation (e.g. Playbook, Toolkits, Templates)QualificationsEssential5+ years' experience in Oracle Cloud, focus in GL, Accounting Hub, Account Reconciliations and Fixed AssetsQualified Accountant with +8 years relevant work experienceMust be able to "engineer" solutions based on the facts and circumstances on the groundMust be "hands on" but also able to summarise complex issues and communicate to managementMust be flexible and react to what will be a constantly changing environmentThe ability to engage and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across a number of financial and non-financial disciplines and various levelsFlexible to travel globallyDesirableAble to produce high quality Visio process flows and PowerPoint presentations.
