Monitor, manage multiple Microsoft SQL Server high availability clusters, both virtual and physical implementationsSupport ongoing tuning of systems in support of customer and internal applications, facilitating application of customer update scripts, reporting services configuration, validation of daily data operations and updates to underlying infrastructure as requiredEstablish system development and integration methodologies and standardsConstruct and test systems in the development environmentIntegrate and implement systems and the supporting infrastructure in the operational environmentMonitor and analyze performance problems and recommend solutions to enhance functionality, reliability, and usabilityParticipate in project/program management reviews and document creationDirectly interface with various government officials and contract based staff including Application owners, CESC Program/Project managers, CESC Engineering groups, downstream network customer representatives, OGA representatives and outside vendor/contractor support personnelMeet 24/7 on-call duties over weekend/holidays as-necessaryActive Secret clearance12+ years of experience in Information Technology with increasing responsibilities in an enterprise server infrastructure focusing on systems engineering and integration in a DoD environment7+ years supporting a large Windows environment and extensive server experience - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Server 2012 & 2016/2019)5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL ServerCurrent Security+CE certification/8570 compliant certificate - Good verbal and written communication skills a must
