This Flex position will be based in Overland Park, KS. As a Flex position, the individual will be able to work two days per week from home. Wednesday is the only required in-office day. The other two in-office days are at the individual’s preference.

Additional Info: Manager is looking for a recruiter with experience in proactive sourcing and candidate engagement, ideally with experience in the areas outlined in the job description. The worker will have a Linkedin Recruiter seat provided by us.
Primary responsibilities include:
Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiativesDevelop, post, and maintain quality job descriptions and advertisements for open positions, ensuring consistency and compliance across all postingsSource candidates through creative social media tools and develop robust networking avenuesInitiate contact with passive candidates for openings and maintain candidate pipelinesWork collaboratively with business leads to screen potential candidatesUtilize internal applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progressIn partnership with hiring managers and HR, develop compensation recommendations and negotiate job offers with candidates.Facilitate all stages of the candidate lifecycle, from job creation through offer, ensuring all candidates have a positive, well-informed experience during the recruiting process.Maintain thorough communication with members of the onboarding team to ensure a successful experience throughoutEnsure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance, EEO and OFCCPOperate in a manner that reflects our vision, mission and core values, with a specific emphasis on safety, respect and quality.
Skills: Bachelor’s Degree preferred3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably specializing in the recruitment of engineers within the domains of power generation, storage, transmission, and distribution. Candidates with a background in technical recruitment or other recruitment specializations may also be consideredDemonstrated professional communication skills
Education: All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.#M1
