We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Quality Engineering to join our team. This leadership role requires a strong proponent of high quality and automation to lead the quality strategy across out organization. The ideal candidate will excel in driving a quality first culture of reducing time to market and has a proven history of continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ingrain quality as a core discipline into every aspect of the engineering organizationProvide expert-level quality engineering knowledge and hands-on problem-solving expertiseAccountable for the overall design, implementation and improvement of testing strategies and tools with a particular focus on test automation, continuous integration and deliveryDefine and execute standards, methods and procedures to determine product release readinessCollaborate closely with development teams to deliver software releases with an ever-increasing level of qualityOwns measurable velocity, implementing new designs, and implementing best practicesEstablish and enforce engineering practices and quality control standards across products and teamsTrack and improve key performance indicators related to quality engineering efficiency and effectivenessFoster a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement across BU portfolioSkills & Competencies:
Test automation frameworks, tools and practicesDelivery optimizationProject managementProcess improvementData-driven KPI analysisCross-functional communicationMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering or related technical field10+ years experience in engineering management rolesStrong understanding of automation frameworks and applicationStrong understanding of Quality Management Systems, methodologies and best practicesAbility to work with multifunctional, global teams in a fast-paced settingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
