As A Benefit Specialist You Will:
401(k) EnrollmentsAdminister and manage the 401(k) enrollment process for new hires and existing employeesEnsure timely and accurate processing of employee contributions and company matchesCoordinate with the 401(k) plan provider to resolve any issues or discrepanciesBenefits Administration
Manage the enrollment, renewal, and administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and other voluntary benefitsProvide employees with information and assistance regarding their benefit options and claimsMaintain accurate records of employee benefits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsCollaborate with vendors and brokers to address any benefit-related issues or questionsGenerate regular reports related to benefits for leadership reviewIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of benefits administrationServe as the primary contact for benefits inquiries and issues resolution, providing prompt and accurate guidance to employeesLeaves of Absence
Administer all types of leaves of absence, including FMLA, personal leave, and other statutory leavesEnsure proper documentation and tracking of leave requests and approvalsCommunicate leave policies and procedures to employees and managersCoordinate with payroll to ensure accurate leave payments and deductionsUnemployment Claims
Manage unemployment claims and respond to inquiries from state agenciesGather and provide necessary documentation to support or contest unemployment claimsMonitor and track unemployment claims and their impact on the organizationTime Off Management
Oversee the time off request process, ensuring compliance with company policiesTrack and record employee vacation, sick leave, and other time offProvide guidance to employees and managers on time off policies and proceduresEnsure accurate reporting and reconciliation of time off recordsWhat We Are Looking For In You:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredProven experience in benefits administration requiredStrong knowledge of 401(k) plans, employee benefits, and leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.)Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionBenefitting You:
