Summary:The Corporate HR Manager oversees the strategic and operational management of the human resources function across the organization. This role involves managing HR functions, overseeing 401K and benefits administration, handling workers' compensation and unemployment claims to ensure alignment with compliance, legal requirements, and business goals. The Corporate HR Manager is responsible for leading HR initiatives, supporting payroll, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Duties include (but not limited to):Strategic HR Management:
Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.
401K Management:
Oversee outsourced 401K plan administration.Review and approve 401K requests (withdrawals, loans, etc.).Communicate with employees about required documentation.Manage employee data in the system (new hires, terminations, address changes).Ensure proper payroll deductions and assist employees with updates.Maintain beneficiary information and plan documents.Communicate with employees regarding their plan balances and updates.Provide annual details for QACA match and compliance.Ensure timely filing of Form 5500 and communicate with employees.Manage investments.
Policy and Procedure Development:
Enter and manage worker’s comp claims in the system.Coordinate with adjusters and maintain payroll codes for audits.Oversee annual workers' compensation audit.Handle Department Of Labor audits and ensure compliance. (When Applicable)
Payroll Management:
Oversee outsourced payroll processing.Review weekly time cards and maintain job records.Ensure FLSA compliance and handle employee payroll inquiries.Manage documentation for new hires, terminations, address changes, and other payroll-related changes.
Benefits Administration:
Organize yearly open enrollment with broker and payroll.Conduct open enrollment meetings and review selections.Manage new hire orientations and ongoing benefit questions.Oversee Medical Discount plan and premium discounts.Manage all benefit plans with our broker's help and ensure proper invoicing and payment.Ensure FMLA compliance in connection with STD or LTD claims.
Job Requirements Include:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.Strong knowledge of HR principles, payroll, and benefits administration.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Working Conditions:Full-time position on-site (Pasadena, Tx)Occasional domestic travel – RequiredWe offer a competitive benefit program:Weekly PayMedical Insurance - Two Plan Options
