About the Role

Carrier Commercial Services has an opening for an experienced HVAC Commercial Senior Area Manager for our Phoenix Area. This position has profit & loss responsibility for an HVAC multi-million-dollar revenue responsibility. It is responsible for growing the market share of the Carrier Commercial Services business in this focused area through new business development working in conjunction with the sales organization. Products and services include Repair Service, Maintenance Contracts, and Modernization Projects. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, including a detailed understanding of the technical sales process and operations management.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain culture of safety and continuous improvementLead Operations team in execution of sales commitments and work ordersPartner with sales organization to develop and execute strategic plan to drive accelerated market growth in assigned area based on revenue and EBIT plans for the areaAccountable for technician productivity, order completion, connecting digital assets and customer retentionMaintain client relationships based on professional credibility and product knowledgeIdentify and participate in industry organizations, trade shows, and events to promote the company, products, and services.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectationsForecast, monitor, and document financial performance against planEnsure customer satisfaction by on-time performance and delivery to customer commitmentsResponsible for operational sales targetsResponsible for ensuring Daily Management Board meetings are happening for all markets within their area (in either one or multiple meetings). The Area Manager is a required attendee for these meetingsMonitor all core KPIs outlined in Daily Management Board cadence and assign actions to improve if any of the KPIs are below the target specified in the DMBPartner with leadership and discuss performance on Daily Management Board KPIs and actions to improve on any underperforming KPIs. Area Managers should proactively come prepared to discuss these items via the action cardResponsible for ensuring Schedule and Optimization guidelines & best practices are followedRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree8+ years of sales, operations or leadership experiencePreferred Qualifications

5+ years experience in HVAC operations leadershipStrong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAPCustomer-centric mindsetProactive and able to balance multiple prioritiesAble to build strong relationships across industries and functionsExcellent communicator - oral, written, etc.Understanding of financial and accounting principlesStrong service operations backgroundIntimate knowledge of HVAC and/or building technologies industryAbility to manage within a large matrixed organization
