Position Summary:
The Director of Human Resources (Global) will oversee the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives across our global organization. This role will be responsible for leading and managing all facets of Human Resources with a focus on Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, HR Operations, and Workforce Planning to support the company’s goals. The Director will play a critical role in driving HR best practices, ensuring compliance across multiple geographies, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture, and developing a world-class employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and execute the global HR strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on HR trends, talent strategies, and workforce analytics. Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and cultural alignment across all geographies. Talent Management Development Design, implement, and oversee global talent acquisition and retention strategies that align with the organization’s growth and culture goals. Drive performance management programs to ensure alignment with business goals, including setting objectives, performance assessments, career development, and succession planning. Develop leadership and development programs tailored to the needs of a global workforce to ensure ongoing employee growth, engagement, and retention. Foster a culture of inclusion and diversity in hiring, promotions, and all talent management practices.
Compensation Benefits Lead global compensation and benefits strategies to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and alignment with company goals. Partner with local HR and finance teams to establish competitive pay scales, benefits structures, and incentive programs tailored to each region. Monitor regulatory changes in compensation and benefits globally to maintain compliance and align with best practices. Ensure regular benchmarking and data analysis to keep global compensation and benefits packages attractive and in line with the company’s values and financial capabilities. HR Operations Compliance Oversee HR operations on a global scale, including HR systems, data management, and reporting to ensure efficient and compliant HR practices. Establish and enforce HR policies and procedures across all regions, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company culture. Implement global HR systems to support data accuracy, streamlined processes, and employee self-service capabilities. Serve as the HR liaison for risk management, audits, and compliance with labor laws and regulations across all countries. Workforce Planning Analytics Develop and manage workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing levels and skills are in place to meet current and future business needs. Collaborate with senior leadership to align workforce planning with strategic business goals, optimizing talent deployment and resource utilization. Leverage HR analytics to drive data-informed decisions, track key metrics, and measure the success of HR initiatives and processes. Leadership Collaboration Provide mentorship and guidance to regional HR teams, fostering collaboration, consistency, and knowledge sharing across regions. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on global HR matters, influencing business strategy with a focus on the people impact. Promote a high-performance culture by establishing clear expectations, recognizing achievements, and creating a positive and productive work environment. Competencies Qualifications:
Deep expertise in global HR practices, talent management, compensation, benefits and workforce planning. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect HR strategies to organizational objectives. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to serve as a sage advisor to senior leadership. Proven experience designing and execution on HR initiatives in complex, multicultural environments. Strong compliance background with heavy focus in North America and Europe. Certification in Human Resources desirable (PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (20%) Education Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Commensurate industry experience. 8-10 years experience at the director level or higher, leading global HR teams. Proven track record of successfully implementing strategic initiatives, with a focus on project management and accountability.
