Reporting to the Closing Manager, this position is responsible for the timely and accurate review of executed loan documents and settlement statements to ensure minimum funding requirements are met. This includes auditing executed loan documents for accuracy of completion or missing items from the closing package. The role will analyze financial risk, create internal documents and reports on the loan process, and determine best practices for the department. The role will answer client questions and calls, coordinate with banks and credit companies, and oversee the processing of loan documents.
What you will do for Constructive Loans:
Ensure outstanding customer experience by quickly reviewing executed loan documents and settlement statements for funding authorizationCompare documents to determine if they are sufficient to satisfy outstanding underwriting conditionsDiscuss any discrepancies with the underwriter to determine the resolutionProvide borrower/broker with timely and periodic updates on statusDetermine when the loan is ready for funding and provide funding authorization to the closing agentProvide timely status updates and identify corrections and/or missing items from the executed closing packageEnsure all outstanding underwriting conditions are cleared prior to issuing funding authorizationValidate that information in the Loan Origination System is accurateIndex loan documents for correct placement in LOS efolderCheck file for completeness and required documentVerify and set up lender wire for closing with warehouseReview executed loan documents prior to release of fundsWork directly with borrowers, brokers, and origination teams to ensure timely and accurate loan fundingManage pipeline in accordance with all department SLA’s.Meet crucial deadlines as requestedProvide a high level of customer service to internal and external customersActively participate in ongoing efforts to continually improve customer service experience.Confirm loan compliance with all state and federal regulations and policies, as well as investor/mortgage lending product and program guidelinesMaintain professionalism and adhere to standards consistent with company policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with policies, processes, and practicesPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedWhat you will bring to Constructive Loans:
