A growing manufacturer of water and wastewater systems and chemical feeder equipment is seeking a
Procurement Specialist
to join its team. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless planning, design, installation, and support of customized systems while maintaining a responsive and efficient supply chain.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing project milestones, uploading documentation into the project management system, importing bills of materials, and creating purchase, sales, and work orders. Additional duties include monitoring purchase orders with vendors, generating weekly vendor stock orders to maintain inventory levels, and analyzing demand trends to support sourcing strategies.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role, along with a solid understanding of purchasing strategies and resource planning systems. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
