As an Accounts Payable Specialist? you will:
Job Duties:
· Review invoices and obtain necessary and proper approval by department managers
· Enter and validate invoices for accuracy and confirm the correct general ledger accounts, departments and product groups are used
· Address and resolve invoice discrepancies within a timely manner
· Review and reconcile vendor statements - identifying all invoices listed have been processed or contacting supplier for additional information
· Generate payments to vendors on a routine schedule – Check, ACH or Wire.
· Maintain timely communication with vendors and internal staff on payment status inquiries
· Audit and process employee expense reports
· Manage monthly closing of AP records and calculate and submit monthly accruals
· Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information
· Perform some accounting, reporting, and analysis functions as needed
· Maintain 1099 vendor documentation and assist in annual Form 1099 submissions
· Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
This is a temporary 3 to 6 month assignment.
The ideal candidate will have:
· 3-5 years of full-cycle AP experience
· Strong organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
· Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
· Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to effectively multi-task
· Above average knowledge of spreadsheets is required – pivot
· Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
· Brimming with high energy and contagious enthusiasm.
· A hands-on approach, finding satisfaction in rolling up sleeves and "getting it done," whether independently or in collaboration with others.
· Possesses outstanding character and a magnetic personality.

Days: Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
