Job Summary:Fix Auto Houston,
one of Houston's largest independent collision repair facilities, is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for accurately estimating and managing all damages and repairs for collision vehicles, as well as acting as a liaison for insurance companies and serving as a DRP (Direct Repair Program) Manager. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and great team environment.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary range of $75,000 to $150,000 per year, paid weekly401(k) Program + Employee matchPaid time off for vacations, holidays, and sick daysPaid HolidaysGreat team environment, many long-term staff members, very little turnover.Responsibilities:Accurately estimate damages and repairs for collision vehicles using industry-leading softwareManage and oversee all aspects of the repair process, including ordering parts and scheduling repairsCommunicate with insurance companies and serve as a liaison for DRP program requirementsEnsure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issuesMonitor repair process and maintain timeline for completionKeep detailed and organized records of repairs, estimates, and insurance communicationsTrain and supervise junior estimators or administrative staff as neededCollaborate with other departments within the franchise to ensure efficient and effective operationsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or I-CAR certificationMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Collision Estimator and DRP ManagerExtensive knowledge of collision repair processes, techniques, and materialsProficiency in industry-leading software and technology used for estimating and managing repairsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAttention to detail and ability to accurately assess and estimate damages and repairsDemonstrated skills in leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork
