Salary range:$135K - $150K USD What you'll do Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values. Analyze existing Citrix ADC configurations and develop a comprehensive migration plan to F5 BIG-IP Design and implement F5 BIG-IP architecture to replace Citrix ADC functionality Configure F5 BIG-IP load balancing, SSL offloading, and application security features Migrate existing applications and services with minimal disruption Optimize F5 configurations for performance and security Develop automation scripts to streamline migration and ongoing management Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members Collaborate with application teams to ensure a smooth transition Act as a technical lead in technology solutions by doing the following:
Mentoring other Engineers; Lead a team of resources on larger projects; Review the deliverables of other Engineers, as appropriate; Act as a point of escalation; Present technology topics at internal education sessions, and industry user group meetings and/or conferences. Be regarded as a thought leader by recommending new technologies, best practices and tools that support the growth of the business
Ability to assess Customer environment and make design and solution recommendations. Act as liaison between Pre-Sales and Delivery teams. Provide design, deployment and implementation services of single or multi-vendor solutions. Handle issues escalated by Consultants and Lead Consultants Ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor issues Lead a Project team Be current with vendor offerings and technology Be available to meet the customer’s IT needs Achievement of utilization targets Embrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values. What you have 15+ years of professional experience in large enterprise environments Professional networking certifications are a plus F5 Certified LTM Specialist Certification Preferred F5 Certified DNS Specialist Certification Preferred Deployment experience with one or more: F5, Citrix, Cisco. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Subject matter expert within your focused technology stack Ability to design complex multi-technology solutions Ability to design complex technical solutions and provide input into bid, project and technical documents Broad knowledge of the business benefits that technical solutions can provide Ability to lead and organize a large virtual technical team, with good negotiation skills and people management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting. Strong working experience with designing/configuring/troubleshooting F5 Application Delivery Systems, specifically LTM, DNS, BIG-IQ F5 Certified LTM Specialist Certification Preferred F5 Certified DNS Specialist Certification Preferred Experience with iRules Experience with Citrix ADC Load Balancers preferred Experience with Linux and shell scripting (bash/zsh/sh) Experience with network troubleshooting using tools like tcpdump or Wireshark Deep knowledge of load balancers, web servers, caching, and web-enabled applications and their associated protocols, e.g., HTTP, TLS, SSL, TCP/IP DNS Routing Demonstrated confidence in delivering customer-facing discussions.
