We are seeking a motivated and experienced Family Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal matters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property issues, and more.Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, and provide strategic guidance throughout their cases.Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Stay current on developments in family law and related areas to provide informed and up-to-date counsel to clients.Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive MD Bar MembershipMinimum 5 years' experienceProven track record of handling family law cases, including litigation experienceStrong knowledge of Family Law and Legal Research skillsExcellent negotiation and advocacy skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectivelyDemonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practiceAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExperience with mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods.Familiarity with local family court procedures and judges.Bilingual abilities are a plus.Our Benefits include, but are not limited to:
