Pleasanton, CA- Hybrid- 3 days onsite ( Tues,Wed,Thurs)/ 2 days remote ( Mon,Wed)
Are you looking for a fast-paced, graphic design opportunity to join an ever-growing agency team?
Our client is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions that elevate engagement across the complete customer journey. They are seeking a Graphic Designer to focus on print (80%) and digital (20%) work for one of their large retail ( grocer ) clients. The bulk of the work will be circulars, direct mail, in-store signage, in-store banners, promotional signage, partnership event signage, etc. This individual must have retail background and will need to be fast and accurate when it comes to production of their work.
Must have portfolio to be considered!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creative execution of concepts and designs for retail circular pages, direct mail, variety of signage and other print collateral.Will create concepts, design and execute retail and direct mail pieces whose messages are visually compelling; execute the creative strategy, and ensure that projects are completed on established schedule targets.Must be able to collaborate with and work under supervision to execute a high volume of creative projects per year to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the client.Must be able to define work based on evaluation of short-term and long-term goals of the department.Able to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate them into overall work objectives.Develops creative and graphic concepts (for web and print) in collaboration with the assigned team.Follows projects throughout all stages of print production and/or online deployment.Provides production support to produce technically correct, print-ready mechanicals for release.Interacts regularly with creative leadership, creative partners, and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects.Interprets marketing ideas and turns them into visual reality at a world-class level.Takes ownership of projects, and successfully executes through all stages of creative development on target, on time, and on budget.Strong attention to detail.Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred5+ Years experience working as a Graphic DesignerStrong portfolio with print and digital examplesProficient on a MAC as well as the Adobe Creative Suite. MS Office Flash and HTML a plus.Organizational skills, adaptability, and composure under fire are equally importantExcellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective client and internal relationshipsStrong project-management skills, organizational skills, and time-management skillsAble to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know about decisions/actions/problems.
