We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team.Responsibilities
Operate Injection Molding presses proficiently while maintaining quality, productivity, cost, safety, and housekeeping goals.Continually improve knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and auxiliary equipment with the goal of promotion to Molding Technician II.Support in the installation, debugging, validation, and start-up of new production injection molding equipment.Handle stacking, corrugated case construction, and perform assigned duties at presses as determined by production volume.Move and stack production pallets as needed.Monitor parameters required to produce quality product and maintain accurate molding conditions.Operate molding equipment according to scheduled requirements of molding work orders and equipment, optimizing available molding capacity.Assist in the preventative maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including granulators, conveyor, liquid temperature controllers, molds, electrical controls, etc.Perform minor service to presses and equipment and notify personnel of major repairs or maintenance needed.Assist technicians and supervisor with training of new associates.Responsible for production and quality on a line of machines, and cleanliness and orderly condition of a designated area.Familiar with all department inspection procedures and standards and continually monitor product for acceptable quality.Maintain records and prepare required reports including: SPC, Q.C. inspection, housekeeping, production downtime reports, mold cavity and cycle time sheets, and problem/corrective action logs in accordance with departmental standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.Report daily production, machine utilization, preventive maintenance, etc.Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.Work with limited supervision and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation.Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from molding area as needed for production.Perform miscellaneous duties as required by supervision.Shift: Green NightsQualifications
High School education or equivalent required.1 to 2 years manufacturing experience required.An understanding of hydraulic/electrical circuits and auxiliary equipment involved in injection molding required.Requires a fundamental ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.Benefits
