The Primavera P6 EPPM Administrator will be the primary contact for MBTA to maintain system-level configuration for the enterprise project scheduling solution and will be responsible for the support of both internal and external users. As the enterprise-wide Project Scheduling Solution P6 EPPM affects all aspects of MBTA capital investment projects the P6 EPPM Administrator will be required to be highly responsive and able to prioritize end user needs in the best interest of the MBTA. The P6 EPPM Administrator will liaise with the e-Builder core team, Director of PMIS, Project Controls organization, Deputy Chief of Project Controls, Governance Committee, and end users to implement required enterprise account level modifications which could include modifications of data fields, reports, dashboards, and templates. Duties & Responsibilities

Primavera P6 EPPM System-Specific Responsibilities

Project Setup User Provisioning & de-activating Template Maintenance Data Visualization including Global Dashboards & Portfolio Maintenance Enterprise Configuration Changes (EPS, WBS, OBS, UDFs) Onboarding and training of new users End User Technical Support Manage report and folder subscriptions. Assist with maintaining detailed, and summary Project Schedules and future anticipated interfaces with e-Builder PMIS platform. Manage Project Archive Process, including re-importing archived schedules into P6 EPPM at the request of the end-users. Review product release notes - educate MBTA user base regarding new functionality and product enhancements. Manage and maintain detailed contractor/consultant schedule import into the Production database. Manage data exchange between P6 EPPM and MBTA Enterprise Data Warehouse. Develop Predictive Analytics models using P6 EPPM Schedule data.

Change Management Responsibilities

Write requirements for Governance Committee review and approval. Development and maintain MBTA-specific P6 EPPM system support documentation. Coordinate configuration changes between all MBTA organizations for acceptance before implementation. Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing of major changes (e.g., new structured workflow) Hold Monthly or Bi-Monthly Governance Meetings to review all requested global changes/product issues. Primary contact for all Oracle technical Service Requests (SRs) - Enter new SRs, manage existing ones to close, and communicate updates back to the appropriate end user.

Schedule Management Responsibilities

Master Schedule Administration and Maintenance. Maintain Schedule components for compliance with MBTA standards. Maintain Earned Value and Calculation Project Settings. Archive project schedules out of P6 EPPM per data retention policies. Configure System and Projects for update via Team Member. Manage Archive folders in e-Builder.

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution. Six (6) years of experience using Primavera P6 EPPM cloud-based software. Excellent knowledge of the construction industry including methodology, terminology, workflow/paper flow of design, and construction activities. Demonstrated experience with computerized systems, database management, and spreadsheet and word-processing programs to transform data and create reports. Experience with Power BI or Tableau data visualization, and dashboard development applications. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with resources throughout the enterprise. Excellent organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks, develop, analyze, and/or revise procedures, meet deadlines, and work in an environment of changing priorities. Ability to use independent judgment and initiative to accomplish tasks. Skill in using computer software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop creative solutions. Resourceful and self-directing, ability to flourish in a fast-paced and demanding work environment. Excellent customer service skills.
