WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT?As the Executive Administrative Assistant at Journey Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our executive office. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, coordinating travel, and preparing comprehensive financial reports through our online system. You'll be the welcoming face for guests, screening calls and expertly handling inquiries. In addition to maintaining an organized filing system and retrieving corporate documents, you'll attend meetings, take minutes, and facilitate effective communication by composing various correspondences. Your ability to prepare for and coordinate meetings, including those of our Board of Directors and Corporate Leadership Team, will be essential.
ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ROLE?To excel as the Executive Administrative Assistant at Journey Group, a combination of educational background and practical experience is crucial. A minimum of an associate's degree in business administration or a related field, along with at least five years of administrative or executive assistant experience, equips you with the necessary skills to thrive in this role. Proficiency in various software tools, including financial systems for report generation, is vital for efficient task execution.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for composing correspondence and presenting information clearly. Strong organizational abilities will aid in managing appointments and coordinating meetings effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to maintain confidentiality will foster trust and ensure seamless operations.
Additionally, interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships within the team and providing a welcoming environment for guests.
