Job Responsibilities include:Work with stakeholders and customers to understand and document business requirementsOwn the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.Drive operational excellence for data ingestion, transformation, and publication to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.Triage many possible courses of action in a high-ambiguity environment, making use of both quantitative analysis and business judgmentMore independent work then collaborative
Successful attributes include the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences, the capacity to remain flexible and adept at learning new tools, and the ability to implement new systems within a team atmosphere. Our environment is deadline-driven and fast-paced and therefore requires detail-oriented individuals comfortable interacting or working with multiple teams (business and technical).
Basic Qualifications3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. experience2+ Experience with data visualization using Quicksight or similar toolsExperience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelinesExperience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingExperience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, and RedshiftExperience in advanced SQL to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data setsBachelor's Degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical/engineering fieldProblem-SolvingUnderstanding of data engineering
Preferred QualificationsExperience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsMaster's Degree in technical or engineering field
