Financial Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A background with a multi-national, publicly traded manufacturing company is preferred. This position will report to the VP, Corporate FP&A. Primary responsibilities will include managing one or more corporate function budgets, preparing PowerPoint presentations, and assisting with ad-hoc projects. In addition, this position will collaborate with the global finance team and executive leadership to identify and utilize data metrics, optimize forecasting, and drive value.If you are seeking a job where critical and analytical thinking are key, this is the job for you! To be considered for this position, the candidate will possess and demonstrate the following skills, education, experience, and characteristics.Responsibilities:Support month-end reporting and variance analysis;Drive initiatives to evaluate and monitor performance;Partner with function leaders to evaluate historical data and develop forecasts;Collaborate on recurring projects, including developing the annual operating plan and long term strategic plan;Prepare, evaluate, and monitor financial data for major investments and capital projects;Drive continuous improvement toward standardization of reporting and master data;Prepare internal and external presentations in PowerPoint and Excel;Support government audits as needed.
Must Have Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting;Must be highly self-motivated and eager to increase knowledge;High degree of professionalism with the ability to present clear and concise presentations;Must be comfortable in a high volume, fast paced, dynamic environment;Strong Excel skills;PowerPoint skills;Onestream or Oracle HFM Experience.
Preferred Requirements:3+ years experience with a publicly traded organization;SAP experience.
