Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades + Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related softwareJob DescriptionHow a Printer Systems Administrator will Make an Impact:As a Customer Windows Print Server Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organizations print infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficiency of print services. You will work closely with both on-site and remote users to resolve printing issues, coordinate upgrades, and provide expert support for Windows print environments.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Windows print server infrastructureManage print queues, drivers, and printer deployments across the organizationTroubleshoot complex printing issues and provide timely resolutionsConfigure and maintain print security policies and access controlsMonitor print server performance and implement optimizationsPlan and execute print server upgrades and migrationsDevelop and maintain documentation for print server configurations and processesCollaborate with network and system teams to ensure print infrastructure aligns with overall IT strategyDocument work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on various tasksWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and print management.Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.Staging and reimaging of Desktops and laptops using Windows AD and Microsoft SCCMExperience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy as it relates to printer deploymentFamiliarity with TCP/IP networking and printer protocolsExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex printing issuesPreferred Skills:Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and print management.Strong systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.Strong troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
