The SAP Master Data Analyst is directly responsible for the support of SAP Master Data at Baltimore Aircoil Company, which encompasses multiple manufacturing plants throughout North America. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESOversee the SAP Master Data processes and procedures necessary for enterprise-wide efficient master data managementResponsible for executing data maintenance processes in accordance with BAC’s standardized frameworkResponsible for adopting and deploying the data standards and business rules within BAC’s SAP system.Responsible for centralized master data maintenance pertaining to multiple master data objects in SAP which includes Material Master, Vendor Master, Bill of Material, Routing, Production Version, Standard Hierarchy, Quality Inspection Records etc.Assists the business with data problem resolution when requestedAssists with the resolution of data integration issues when reported by the Business UnitsAbility to maintain a full audit trail of critical master data changes and handle internal Audit queries as necessaryAbility to understand the various data flags and components of each master data object and how it relates to downstream SAP processes and transactionsUnderstand impact of changes within the master data across all SAP domains.Support the business on decentralized workflow based Master Data creation and changes for Material and Vendor masterSupport any ongoing SAP projects with all master data related support including preparation for Mass loads for various master data objects.Collaborate with geographically dispersed cross functional teams including other SAP Analysts and developers to address technical and process issuesDrive any Master Data related improvement initiatives as necessary. Ability to suggest innovative ideas to improve Master Data governance.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSCollege degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred. Degree requirement flexible depending on SAP master data experience3 to 5 years of SAP Master data experience in SAP ECC 6.0 environment especially in diverse manufacturing industriesSAP Master Data experience should include Expert level understanding of Material Master, Vendor Master, BOM, Routing, Production Version etc.Experience with utilizing mass data tools, such as LSMW. Winshuttle preferredExperience with Data migration activities including Mass Data Loads preferredExperience with working on a multi-tier SAP landscape and familiarity with SAP transport management processStrong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organizationExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision critical.Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders as well as the SAP team to get work done on timeWORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
