Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Construction
Job Summary:We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our JLL Work Dynamics Account Team at the client's World HQ campus in Wichita, KS (onsite position). This role will focus on tenant improvements, infrastructure projects and decommissions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction projects and an understanding of a campus environment, building systems and operations.
This role includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution. It is crucial to have strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaboratively work with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

What this job involvesManage multiple projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from project identification to design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout.Assist in capital planning for architectural and engineering infrastructure-type projects.Review and approve project plans, designs, and specifications to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.Coordinate and track RFPs; maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.Coordinate and negotiate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction projects and adherence to budget and schedule.Conduct on-site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.Provide regular project updates to the Team Lead, including information on project schedule, budget, and risks, using the Client's Project Management web-based tools.Prepare accurate project documentation for all construction phases, such as project charter, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, financial funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports.Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.Manage vendors, including general contractors, architects and engineers, security providers, and signage suppliers, ensuring adherence to project policies and procedures and completing project closeouts within 90 days after project completion.Ensure compliance with client scope of work, collecting lien waivers, certificates of insurance, and other required documentation.
Relationship Management & CommunicationHigh levels of customer service. Ability to serve multiple clients at any given time, deliver on milestones and create a positive impression for the team and the company.Effective communication skills are essential as there will be interactions with site customers, asset managers, facility engineers, customers, vendor partners, and client project team members.Develop and maintain client relationships and assist in conflict resolution.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Provides clear, concise, communication.Responds in a timely manner.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferably construction management, engineering, or related fieldAt least 3-5 years of practical experience in construction management industry and/or corporate real estate management.A high-level understanding of MEP infrastructure projects.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Understanding of construction processes and methods.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.Knowledge of construction contracting methods & invoicing with an attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Technology proficiency required; proficient with project management web-based applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams & SharePoint.Organizational skills and the ability to identify and manage priorities.
