Introduction to teamOur Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.As the
Director of Organizational Effectiveness , you will be part of an internal consultancy and will lead projects across key practice areas such as operating model design, organizational design, organizational transformation and change management, team effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration, and process and performance improvement. You will report into the Senior Director of Organizational Development. This role will be
based out of our US headquarters in Seattle, Washington
and will be an individual contributor on the team.In this role, you will:You will be responsible for working across multiple client groups to address Expedia Group’s organizational effectiveness challenges to increase the performance of our operating divisions and overall business.In partnership with HRBPs, you will lead organization design and transformation projects across Expedia Group globally.You will collaborate with senior executive leaders and the People Team to problem solve and identify gaps, then design and implement strategic plans that enhance business outcomes.You will develop and execute company-wide strategies for organizational effectiveness, focusing on aligning strategic priorities with the right processes and structures.You will design and implement organization and operating model design frameworks and tools to enable our leaders and HRBPs to lead organization design and transformation.You will lead initiatives aimed at improving ways of working including cross-functional alignment, operating rhythms, team effectiveness, and decision-making across the organization.You will leverage advanced project management methodologies to independently lead end-to-end initiatives across Expedia Group. As an IC Director, you will lead a minimum of 2-3 projects at a time, managing different stakeholder groups.You will be an individual contributor on the team who understands how the OE practice areas intersect to create comprehensive client solutions.Experience and qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.Certifications:
Lean, Six Sigma, Prosci, or similar certification preferred.Experience:10+ years of experience in organizational design, change management, or organizational effectiveness.4+ years of external consulting experience and/or internal consulting.Proven experience in leading large-scale organizational design and transformation projects.Skills and knowledge:Expertise in organizational design principles, change management methodologies and performance optimization.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams.Key competencies:Strategic vision and execution.Change leadership.Strong business acumen.Collaborative leadership.Analytical problem-solving.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Adaptability and innovation.The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $196,000 to $274,500 USD. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $313,500 USD, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
