Sr. Associate Brand Manager for Truly
in
Boston, MA*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.With the Sr. Associate Brand Manager (SABM) position, we're looking for a creative leader with enthusiasm for bringing innovative and differentiated ideas to life in new ways and driving results. The person who will thrive in this role will have a strong ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams across the organization. The "SABM" will be responsible for all aspects of marketing including, but not limited to: 1) leveraging insights, data, and instinct to bring fresh ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to the next evolution of TRULY Hard Seltzer, 2) brainstorming innovative new products and flavors, 3) bringing a creative approach to strategic planning and partnership management, 4) collaboration with cross functional teams to develop show-stopping graphics for packaging and point-of-sale and 5) even the really fun stuff like consumer promotions and brand activations!Are you ready to rewrite the rules with us!? Risk takers welcome!What You'll Brew:Partner with our insights team, new product development team, and creative team to dream up exciting new flavors and pack ideas, bring them to market, and track in-market performanceAnalysis, tracking, generation of data and reports that lead to insights that drive action plansAssist in the oversight and development of the portfolio with a special focus on Truly limited time offering (LTO) packages - currently one of the hottest selling lineups in seltzerDevelop new creative ideas and work with the larger team to keep Truly LTO's fresh and fun!Pitch and manage brand partnerships that keep Truly at the forefront of pop cultureSupport the SBM in the development of annual strategic plans and subsequent brand plans that drive growth, catch eyeballs, and get drinkers everywhere excited about TrulyWork with sales team to deliver best-in-class go-to-market strategiesWork closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing efforts are on-time and well-executed...and have a good time doing it!Show up to support at occasional events, promotional activities, and sales meetings...who knows, you might take in a free US Soccer game while you're at it!Write briefs that are tight, insightful, and get our internal and external creative teams excitedDevelop selling materials that provide the sales organization ample, yet simple and compelling rationale for customers to get behind Truly products and programsSupport management of the budget and participate in S&OP/P&L/inventory administration, and manage all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budgetOccasional travel for meetings, promotions and events (~10-20% travel)
What Ingredients You'll Bring:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 3 years experience in a results-oriented consumer product marketing role at a marketing driven firmProficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioningExperience in developing creative consumer marketing communicationsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams to project completion
Skills:Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, add value, and provide action-oriented recommendations in-line with business objectivesDemonstrated ability to gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative market research and translate into creative marketing initiativesProactive and creative problem-solver - is always thinking several steps aheadAbility to work well with and lead cross-functional teams to project completionSolid inter-personal and communication skills, are highly organized, flexible, self-motivated and able to succeed in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:Beverage industry or traditional CPG experience strongly preferred
Level: 6At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $66,300 and $130,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.Some Perks:Our people are our most important "ingredient."
