We are open to local candidates or those willing to relocate.If you are looking for a fast-paced environment where you can make a difference every day, then this is the opportunity for you!The right person to join our team is...Someone who has experience running a high volume pick/pack fulfillment operation, driving continuous improvement activities, possesses strong leadership development skills, demonstrates total ownership and accountability, and has the ability to plan, execute, control, and deliver.This position is responsible for…Providing strong leadership around the timely execution of all fulfillment functions (shipping, receiving, and inventory functions). The role also includes oversight of the custom orthopedic production area and promoting a robust safety culture.Your day will be very busy… you will:Create and maintain a work environment that prioritizes safety above all else. Drive the implementation of company-wide safety education campaigns and proactively seek out and remedy safety-related issues within the fulfillment space. Represent Fulfillment on the company-wide safety committee.Ensure timely and accurate pick, pack, custom logo, and shipping of all orders as measured by On-Time/In Full (OTIF) and Line Item Fill Rate (LIFR) metrics. Ensure the accurate storage, inventory, and distribution of finished goods and raw materials.Actively manage shipping errors to include reporting, root cause analysis, corrective action, and re-training.Prioritize building and maintaining professional relationships with other leaders in the business, including Customer Care, Fulfillment, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Sales.Provide oversight of international shipping operations to maximize efficiency and minimize errors. Interface regularly with the International Sales team to understand demand forecasts.Manage inventory management databases including the receipt, recording, and delivery of all purchased materials.Maintain accurate inventory transaction records including daily cycle counts and root cause analyses.Manage activities related to the fabrication of custom brace products and coordinate communication with the Mexicali operation around raw materials and quality assurance.Management responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management, and continuous recalibration of staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; perform administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration, and other matters related to employment.Assess staff and provide timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Work with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluate training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.What your background will be:Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study and 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Relevant experience typically includes materials, inventory control, warehouse, distribution, logistics, and manufacturing data systems.International Shipping experience is advantageous.Knowledge of Lean methodology and Demand Pull systems is preferred.Knowledge of warehousing and forklift operations; safety, and business practices. Warehouse Worker/Forklift Certification is required. $150,000 - $205,000 annual base.This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary/pay across all US locations. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan.For
