POSITION SUMMARY
The Truck Driver Operator is responsible for, but not limited to transferring products to and from the annex warehouses, assisting shipping and receiving, and Area Maintenance/Housekeeping.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to:Operation of tractor/trailer within DOT guidelines.Loading/hauling to plant all raw materials needed for planned production runs.Shipping Products according to Customer Orders.Receiving and Inspecting Incoming Deliveries.Complete full inventory of dropped drums trailers & raw material drums inside the warehouse.Update the trailer log accordinglyFilling out and turning in and/or filing associated paperwork.Keeping the area clean and making the work environment safe.Assist with training new forklift drivers.Other Assigned projects.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
CDL Class A licenseAbility to read and comprehend written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, etc.Basic knowledge of chemical hazards.Basic knowledge of drop trailersUnderstanding accident procedures & reportingKnowledge of truck and equipment safety.Effective verbal and listening communication skills.Time management skills.Decision-making skills.Ability to read, write and speak EnglishWillingness to work mandatory overtimeEmployees are expected to work productively and safelyEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of Truck Driving experience with a clean driving record
