&Juliet , New York Botanical Garden, YMCAs of Greater New York, and many others.We are looking for a passionate, highly analytical, and results-driven Associate Director, Paid Social, to join our growing performance marketing team. You’ll play a dual, hands-on role in developing, implementing, and optimizing paid social campaigns on a daily basis for our clients, while supporting the overall strategy and growth of AKA’s paid social program and operations on a national scale. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, deep paid social experience across campaign types (awareness to conversion), and an interest in live entertainment, theatre, attractions, and institutions. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing, the Associate Director of Paid Social is a full-time exempt role based in New York City.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Lead best-in-class paid social strategy and campaign execution across clients and platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and more.Build out paid social operations and processes in partnership with teams across the agency, including agency tooling, platforms, templates, and reporting to help grow, scale, and streamline our efforts.Partner with and mentor colleagues within the paid media team to offer ideas, optimization opportunities, and recommendations on clients’ accounts.Manage relationships with paid social reps, ensuring support across our clients (e.g., troubleshooting, betas, coupon opportunities, test and learn opportunities, etc).Create compelling ad creatives and copy that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.Implement A/B testing methodologies to continuously optimize ad performance.Monitor campaign performance and key metrics regularly, analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.Prepare and present detailed performance reports to internal stakeholders, clients, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.Effectively manage and optimize budgets to ensure maximum ROI, monitoring spending patterns and adjusting based on performance and goals.Utilize audience targeting tools and methodologies to reach the right demographics, refining strategies based on performance data.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including client services, creative, content, and business intelligence, to ensure seamless campaign execution.Stay informed of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies in the paid social landscape.WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:5-7 years of experience managing Paid Social campaigns, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, etc.Deep understanding of Meta advertising required, including setup, budgets, campaign management, and levers to bolster results. Meta Blueprint Certifications or equivalent knowledge.Deep understanding of paid social settings required, including Business Manager, Settings, Events Manager, Pixel & CAPI implementation, Audience Manager, Integrations, etc.Strong understanding of key performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CTR, CPC, CPA, CAC, ROAS, CVR, etc) to identify optimization opportunities.Knowledgeable about channel best practices, from campaign setup to targeting and creative.Exceptional data analytics skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and form actionable insights.Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.A working knowledge of paid search and passion for live theater, arts, culture, attractions, and/or tourism is a plus!WHAT WE OFFER:A competitive salary between $90,000- $110,000, commensurate with experience.A generous PTO policy.1/2 day Summer Fridays.100% employer-paid healthcare for employees.100% employer-paid dental care for employees.Flexible working hours.Hybrid position: minimum three days per week in office.WFA for set weeks during the year.Training and Development fund per employee.Paid parental leave to a maximum of 12 paid weeks.Student loan repayment assistance (or tuition assistance) with years of service.Paid sabbatical with years of service.Pet-friendly office.
