This role will support management of client relationships and ensure efficient service delivery in addition to operational day-to-day activities.Candidate must have the ability to influence senior stakeholders, as he/she will be tasked with creating value-added solutions for our client. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and present executive-level business cases. The role requires regular interaction with account leadership, clients, service providers, operational and support staff and will be part of a fast-paced environment consistently charged with handling multiple demands and priorities. The candidate must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, and consistently make high-quality decisions. Candidate must have superb people engagement and documentation skills and deliver thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks. The role is critical to the success of the client relationship in driving energy & environmental performance management, risk mitigation, and process improvement.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with executive-level management in designing and implementing processes and long-term plansProvide training on new processes and programs that are implementedLead all team operations and communications strategies for the Sustainability teamMaximize all efficiency and productivity through process analysis and team collaboration through setting overall strategic goalsCreate content for internal and external executive communications, crafting the content for a range of different audiences

Prepare for and help conduct Town Hall meetings, team meetings, etc.Help to gather information and build PowerPoint decks for executive-level presentations

Manage and develop financial and budgetary plansAssist the Group Managing Director in providing strategic direction and guidance on ways to enhance and expand service delivery to the client, including leveraging supply chain partners, internal collaborations, and the broader Clean Energy and Sustainability teamProvide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support for all various Clients when requiredCollaborate with other JLL Directors/Managers to learn best practices and publish best practices developed on client account for the benefit of all firm clientsSkills & Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience within operations and leading a teamExperience in developing and implementing new systems and processes and ability to train others on themStrong ability to analyze corporate portfolio by benchmarking and reviewing utility data to drive sustainability measuresFamiliarity with energy procurement process and renewable energy optionsAbility to plan and prioritize deadlines and think strategically to identify innovative solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and experience developing sustainability solutions desiredHigh-level communication, organizational, and leadership skills, previously demonstrated by professional successDemonstrated ability to provide executive-level communications and the ability to efficiently communicate complex conceptsAbility to work with important confidential informationAbility to work autonomously while being proactive and taking initiativeDesired QualificationsKnowledge and understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidance, and operating proceduresKnowledge and appreciation of energy markets and energy procurementStrong project management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentExperience in the preparation of tenders and work orders and the ability to select appropriate equipment and service vendorsKnowledge of environmental reporting, utility management and energy budgets, an environmental improvement program, and ISO 14001 compliance.Behavioral CompetenciesThink Big - Thinks strategically, simplifies the complex, solves complex problems, sees the big pictureDrive Change - Thrives on change, learning agility, intellectually curious, appetite for risks, digital driveHelps others - Builds relationships, actively collaborates, helps others succeed.Get it done - Acts decisively, drives results, passion to win, takes ownership, accountable, resilientBusiness first - Focuses on customers and clients, business/financial acumen, JLL firstInspire - Inspire others, creates vision and strategy, energizes othersLocation:On-site – Washington, DCIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
